Summary:
Ringo was sent a sacrificial ring by in a fan letter and is now being hunted down by a religious cult from the "mystic east" because of it. Trying to keep him from harm, the beatles travel the world to find a way to get the ring of his finger.

Review:
It's one of my all time favorite movies. Brilliant random humor, Beatles at their peak of beatlemania, nice songs, just a lot of love.
It's a fast movie; you get absolutely no breathing time rolling from one attempt on Ringo's life into the other. In 3 words: fun, random & sexy.

Review:
Nice movie, very Monty Python, but not their best. I liked the concept - nothing like a little friendly blasphemy once in a while! Also, I marveled at the fact that this movie is still very much up-to-date; even after 30 years people laugh just as hard at the jokes. It seems they've managed to make the comedy as timeless as the religion it's mocking.

I'm about to start working this blog properly. You see, I've been watching movies for this challenge since november 2008 and I'm currently at movie # 52. That's quite a lot of posts to catch up with! But I'll try to get them up within reasonable time - the number's only going to grow (or it'd better...).
